Are you a natural communicator who enjoys bringing people together, finding solutions, and helping families move forward?
At Four Oaks, we believe every family has strengths, every voice deserves to be heard, and every challenge is an opportunity for positive change. We're looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Solution Focused Meeting Facilitator who is passionate about helping children, youth, and families build brighter futures!
As a Solution Focused Meeting Facilitator, you'll play an important role in guiding meaningful conversations, bringing families and support teams together, and helping identify solutions that promote stability, independence, and long-term success.
This isn't just about leading meetings. It's about creating opportunities for families to be heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step forward!
What You'll Do
Every meeting is an opportunity to build connections, encourage collaboration, and make a meaningful difference! In this role, you will:
- Bring People Together: Coordinate and facilitate Solution Focused Meetings (SFMs) and Youth Transition Decision Making (YTDM) meetings that encourage collaboration and family-driven solutions.
- Empower Families and Youth: Create a welcoming, respectful environment where families and youth feel comfortable sharing their strengths, concerns, and goals.
- Turn Conversations into Action: Guide productive discussions that help families identify challenges, develop solutions, and create meaningful plans for moving forward.
- Prepare for Success: Engage families, youth, and team members before meetings to ensure everyone understands the process and is ready to participate.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Collaborate with HHS workers, Family Centered Services (FCS) providers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated communication and support.
- Connect Families to Resources: Help identify community services, interventions, and support systems that promote stability and long-term self-sufficiency.
- Navigate Challenges with Confidence: Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when facilitating difficult conversations or responding to crisis situations.
- Keep Things Organized: Coordinate meeting schedules, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure services meet agency and contractual requirements.
- Grow Your Expertise: Complete required training in Solution Based Casework (SBC), Solution Focused Meeting facilitation, and Youth Transition Decision Making to effectively guide families through the process.
