SAP Inhouse Consultant CO (m/f/d)

<h2>About the Role</h2><p>Our client, a leading international company, is looking for an experienced SAP Inhouse Consultant CO (m/f/d) to join its team and drive the continuous development and optimisation of its SAP Controlling environment.</p><p>This role is ideal for an SAP CO professional with strong process knowledge, a hands-on mindset and experience in project or sub-project management. You will work closely with international business units, key users and cross-functional teams to optimise business processes and support the transformation of the company's SAP landscape.</p><p>Candidates with 2–3 years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience are also encouraged to apply, provided they have a clear interest in specialising in SAP CO.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Advise and support international business units and Global Business Services in optimising, standardising and transforming the SAP landscape, with a particular focus on Controlling.</li><li>Lead or co-lead national and international SAP CO projects, including implementation and rollout activities.</li><li>Take end-to-end responsibility for the SAP CO module and drive its continuous development in line with business requirements.</li><li>Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and efficiency gains.</li><li>Develop technical solution concepts and independently implement them through SAP Customizing.</li><li>Plan, coordinate and manage SAP testing activities.</li><li>Act as the central point of contact between key users, business departments and related SAP modules, including SAP MM, SD, PS, PP and CS.</li><li>Provide third-level support, resolve complex issues and coordinate with external service providers.</li><li>Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of SAP CO functionalities and processes.</li></ul><h2>Your Profile</h2><ul><li>A degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.</li><li>Several years of experience in SAP CO, ideally with at least 2–3 years of project or sub-project management experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of relevant SAP CO modules and functionalities, particularly:</li><li>Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC)</li><li>Actual Costing and Material Ledger (CO-PC-ACT)</li><li>Overhead Cost Controlling (CO-OM)</li><li>Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)</li><li>Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA)</li><li>Experience in designing, implementing and managing SAP projects.</li><li>Ideally, initial experience with SAP S/4HANA and basic knowledge of related modules such as SAP PP, MM or SD.</li><li>Business-fluent German and English skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all organisational levels.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a solid understanding of business processes.</li><li>A proactive, hands-on approach, strong communication skills and the ability to drive topics forward.</li><li>A collaborative mindset and the confidence to take ownership and lead initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Important:</strong> We are particularly interested in candidates who combine technical SAP knowledge with strong business process expertise and leadership potential.
