About this role
As the Industrial Prototyping Lead on Google Beam, you will operate as a multidisciplinary design leader pioneering the next-generation of lifelike 3D communication hardware and spatial experiences. At the intersection of physical industrial design, spatial architecture, and generative AI workflows, you will define and fabricate functional hardware reference designs, room-scale installations, and multimodal prototypes that guide both internal engineering teams and external OEM/Original Device Manufacturer (ODM) partners.Google Beam is a true-to-life new communication technology from Google that allows people to feel like they’re having real face-to-face conversations, no matter the distance. Powered by realistic state-of-the-art 3D imaging and spatial audio and integrated with today’s leading remote video platforms, Google Beam enables you to be immersed in the moment, together. As a part of the Google Beam team, you'll work with incredible teammates across all major functions in a fast-paced product-oriented environment. Your contributions will have an impact on the future of communications with Google products. You will apply technology to solve that really important problem that we often want to be together and we can’t.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
