- Experience in supporting high-profile or complex construction projects.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to integrate seamlessly with Superintendents and field personnel.
- Collaborative approach to safety leadership, focusing on coaching and building buy-in rather than policing the project.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Work Environment The role is based on a large construction project in the Telluride area, with the majority of time spent in the field and a strong emphasis on hands-on safety engagement. The typical schedule is approximately 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, initially five days per week with the potential to move to six days per week as the project progresses. Current site manpower is around 30 team members and is expected to grow to more than 75 field personnel, creating a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position is salaried, with overtime not paid separately. For travelers, housing is provided, including cabin accommodations with a kitchenette and additional hotel options. Free bus transportation is available to and from the project site, and individuals may drive their own vehicle if they choose, though parking costs are not covered.
