Job Description: VisionPLUS (V+) CTA RTB Production Support – Technical Lead / Lead Programmer Analyst
- Experience should have 5+ years to 12 Years.
- Strong knowledge of the Cards and Payments domain.
- Hands-on experience in Run-the-Bank (RTB) Production Support.
- Own day-to-day VisionPLUS CTA RTB production support activities.
- Strong experience in L2/L3 batch production support, including batch monitoring, abend analysis, job restart and recovery.
- Proficiency in VisionPLUS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and Mainframe technologies.
- Experience in production incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and permanent issue resolution.
- Ability to manage critical production incidents, meet service-level agreements (SLAs), and minimize business impact.
- Experience in batch dependency analysis, job scheduling, and coordination with upstream and downstream application teams.
- Ability to independently analyze complex production issues and drive them through resolution.
- Understanding on the SDLC.
- Take ownership of day-to-day VisionPLUS CTA RTB batch support activities.
- Communication with customer and producing the daily status report.
- Monitor batch execution, analyze failures, perform job restarts, and coordinate recovery activities.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure timely incident resolution in accordance with defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, scheduling, and business teams to resolve production issues.
- Communicate with customers and provide daily status reports, incident updates, and escalation summaries.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, review technical solutions, and support knowledge sharing.
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of production support operations.
- Knowledge of REXX and Ezytrieve.
- Experience in team leadership, task allocation, and technical guidance.
- Experience in production problem management and preventive measures.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and preventing recurring production incidents.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including extended support hours when required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
