About this role

The Modular Manufacturing and Integration team is pioneering a paradigm shift in how Google builds and scales technical infrastructure for the AI era. Shifting away from conventional, on-site, purpose-built civil construction, our mission is to industrialize data center delivery through mass manufacturing, off-site integration, and standardized modular building blocks.

By pushing system complexity upstream into factory environments, we enable rapid "square wave" capacity deployment—bringing AI compute, power, cooling, and network fabric online with speed. Operating at the intersection of AI Systems and Infrastructure (AI2), Google Data Centers (GDC), Systems and Manufacturing (ISM), and Google Global Infrastructure (GGI), our organization designs the modular product platform and executes the commercial, operational, and delivery strategies required to land technical infrastructure at gigawatt scale.

As a Principal, Strategic Partnership Leader, you will serve as the lead commercial architect and premier agreement-maker responsible for building the global industrial manufacturing ecosystem that underpins Google’s modular data center strategy. Operating in a high-growth, highly ambiguous space. You will design, originate, and execute commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.

In this individual contributor role, you will lead high-stakes negotiations with C-suite executives across global industrial manufacturers, modular fabricators, and engineering integrators. Your focus will be developing business partnerships to enable this strategic capability for Google. You will operate with executive autonomy, mobilizing and leading cross-functional agreement teams across Engineering, Hardware Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to turn technical modular designs into legally binding, commercially sound global agreements.

The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. We empower Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights by delivering AI and Infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability and velocity. Our customers include Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide.

We're the driving force behind Google's groundbreaking innovations, empowering the development of our cutting-edge AI models, delivering unparalleled computing power to global services, and providing the essential platforms that enable developers to build the future. From software to hardware our teams are shaping the future of world-leading hyperscale computing, with key teams working on the development of our TPUs, Vertex AI for Google Cloud, Google Global Networking, Data Center operations, systems research, and much more.
