About this Role

About Summit Line Construction

Summit Line Construction is a high-voltage electrical utility contractor and Quanta Services company headquartered in Heber City, Utah. We self-perform transmission line construction, distribution system work, substation construction and maintenance, and renewable energy infrastructure projects across the Western United States. Our crews work in demanding terrain and conditions, and the equipment they rely on has to be ready. Behind every project we deliver is a support operation people, tools, and equipment that makes the work in the field possible. That support operation starts in our shop.

Position Summary: The Shop Manager oversees all aspects of equipment maintenance, fleet readiness, and shop operations for Summit Line Construction's construction fleet a mixed inventory of line trucks, digger derricks, aerial devices, tensioners, pullers, and support vehicles deployed across transmission, distribution, substation, and renewable energy projects throughout the Western U.S. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands equal parts mechanical aptitude, organizational discipline, and crew management, with direct accountability for keeping field crews equipped and their equipment safe, compliant, and running.
