Vice President, Head of Google Practice

We currently have a career opportunity for a Vice President to run our Google Practice. Perficient's Google practice holds premier partner tier. For two decades, we have built the digital platforms that healthcare, financial services, life sciences, automotive, manufacturing, and retail enterprises run their businesses on. Our Google offerings span Google Gemini, Product Development, Google Cloud Modernization, Google Agentic Data Cloud (BigQuery, Apigee, Looker, etc.) and Gemini Enterprise Customer Experience (GECX).

Perficient is a global consulting firm and building the future with a Native AI Services practice anchored with Google as it’s hyperscale and AI platform. Agentic orchestration is rewriting what enterprises buy from Google and what they expect from the partner who implements it. Our clients are asking a harder set of questions than they were a year ago, and they are asking us. Everything we recommend, we have already built in production. The next leader of this practice will define that operating model rather than inherit it.

- Seven or more years at the vice president, general manager, or practice lead level, with direct accountability for a revenue or bookings target.
- Ten or more years in the Google ecosystem at a systems integrator, an agency, Google, or a large enterprise Google Cloud customer.
- A record of carrying an annual target and hitting it, with ownership of utilization and delivery margin across a services business.
- A services offering built from zero to material revenue, including the go-to-market motion behind it.
- Generative or agentic AI running in production for enterprise clients, with results you can substantiate to a client CFO.
- Active senior relationships inside Google field leadership or the partner organization, and a record of converting them into pipeline.
- Delivery leadership across multiple geographies and time zones.
- C-suite advisory experience on cloud modernization, platform consolidation, migration, or total cost of ownership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements, Google meetings, business development, and team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

- Time inside Google itself, with a working read on how field leadership and the partner organization allocate attention.
- Hands-on command of the Google Cloud and agentic stack, including Gemini, Apigee, and BigQuery.
- Google delivery inside a regulated industry, where legal and compliance review shapes the architecture.
- An established market voice, whether a published point of view, a Google Cloud Next stage, or standing analyst relationships at Forrester and Gartner.
- Google sold alongside Salesforce, data, or commerce capability on the same account.
- A record of recruiting senior talent into a practice that was still being built.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $200,000 to $275,000.
