Job Description
PrideStaff is currently hiring Electronics Recycling Warehouse Operators for an industry-leading electronics recycling company in Woodland, CA!
In this role, you will perform specialized teardown, harvesting, and material destruction of consumer electronics. You will be responsible for disassembling electronic devices, harvesting viable components without damage, sorting materials by type or part number, and tracking production output. If you enjoy hands-on physical work, using power tools, and learning about electronic hardware, this is a great long-term opportunity!
Key Responsibilities
Teardown & Harvesting: Disassemble consumer electronics using manual and power hand tools (drills, pliers, wire cutters, etc.).
Component Identification: Recognize basic electronic components and safely harvest/remove them without causing damage.
Sorting & Categorization: Sort harvested components by model or part number; categorize remaining raw materials (e.g., plastics, metals, circuit boards).
Equipment & Production Tracking: Keep accurate daily records of processing times, material weights, and total units disassembled.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere strictly to safety standards while working around mechanical parts and electrical equipment; keep workstations clean and organized.
Requirements & Qualifications
Language & Communication: Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to follow written and verbal instructions safely.
Technical & Tool Skills: Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and learn new assembly/disassembly concepts quickly.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and reach throughout an 8+ hour shift.
Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Safety & PPE: Willing and able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work near mechanical and electrical equipment.
PrideStaff Mandatory Hiring Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and a valid picture ID.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must provide at least 2 professional references from recent managers or supervisors.
