General Laborer – Steel Manufacturing
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am - 8:30pm
### Position Overview
PrideStaff is seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers for a steel manufacturing and fabrication environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable in an industrial setting, and are willing to learn new skills. Candidates must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with general labor duties in a steel manufacturing and fabrication facility.
Load, unload, move, and organize steel materials and finished products.
Assist machine operators and fabrication personnel with daily production tasks.
Prepare materials for cutting, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
Use basic hand tools and power tools as directed.
Perform material handling, sorting, stacking, and staging of steel products.
Inspect materials for visible defects or damage.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous general labor, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Ideal Candidate
