Bartender

New Land Hospitality runs some of Milwaukee's most memorable places to grab a drink:

- Star Bar : our newest spot on the East Side, an astrology-inspired cocktail lounge with disco balls, DJ nights, and a full calendar of events and celebrations

- Canopy Bar : a private bar on the 25th floor of the Ascent, with views of the city

We're looking for a bartender who cares about craft cocktails and likes giving guests a night they'll talk about.

Duties

- Make and serve craft cocktails with precision and consistency

- Help guests choose drinks by learning what they like and recommending something they'll love

- Batch and prep recipes during slower hours so service runs smoothly

- Stock, set up, and close the bar each shift

- Bring energy to themed nights, events, and celebrations

- Work alongside teammates to keep the energy and the standards high

Qualifications

- 1+ year of bartending experience (craft cocktail experience is a plus)

- Availability for evenings and weekends

- A valid Milwaukee bartender's license, kept current while employed

- Strong communication skills and a genuine love of hospitality

- Composure and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

- Reliable transportation

- Ability to stand for long shifts, run a POS system, and lift up to 50 lbs
