Here's how a Summer 2027 Estimating Intern for PCL Construction Services, Inc. within Denver contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

- Review and perform quantity survey assignment with lead estimator

- Performs general sub-trade solicitation duties

- Bid document control

- Performs bid day assignments

- Sub-trade bid reviews and recapping

- Visits job sites periodically

- Use of in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating)

- Develops relationships with subcontractors

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Desire a career in construction Project Management, Field Supervision, or Estimating.

- Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline.

- Any experience using the following; On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel and Word, Revit, Acrobat, and other computer software

- Required to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and owners

- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, and perform quantity take offs

- Must be authorized to work in the US *PCL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1-B, etc.) for this position

- 18 years of age or older

- Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from May to August

- Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.

The salary range for this position is between $22 and $28 an hour, based on experience and qualifications. We anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, though it may be open for a longer period of time. We encourage your prompt application.
