About Splitit
Our vision is to help consumers responsibly enrich their lives by leveraging the credit they’ve already earned in a new and impactful way. Today consumers want control of how they pay for the things they want and need. Splitit is the only payment platform that enables consumers to use their existing credit to break payments into smaller, bite-sized pieces to pay over time with no interest, applications, or fees. That keeps money in the hands of shoppers to use as they want. By helping shoppers pay small, we help businesses grow big. That’s a win-win. Splitit operates globally and has offices in Atlanta, New York, and Tel Aviv.
Who We Are
Our culture is an environment of innovation, inspiration, and open communication. We live by the following values: Unique Perspective. Unwavering Courage. Bold Determination. Deliver Impact. Our values aren’t words we post on the wall—they make up the essence of who we are and how we make business decisions. They also shape the way we hire, so if you work with us, you will likely embody these too.
What You’ll Do
As a Manager, Portfolio & Fraud Analytics at Splitit, you will play a critical role in launching and scaling a new installment credit card business. Working closely with the General Manager, Card & Lending, you will monitor business performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
This is a hands-on role combining broad portfolio analytics with fraud monitoring and partner reporting. You’ll join before launch and help build the program’s monitoring, fraud operations, and reporting from the ground up. You will help leadership understand how the business is performing, explain results against expectations, and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
- Portfolio Performance & Analytics: Monitor performance across the account lifecycle, from originations through portfolio performance and economics. Evaluate actual results against forecasts and expectations, explain every result that falls outside tolerance, identify emerging trends, and recommend actions to improve business outcomes. Lead monthly performance reviews and help establish a disciplined approach to ongoing program monitoring.
- Origination Fraud Monitoring: Monitor the performance of automated origination fraud and verification rules. Trace confirmed fraud, bust-outs, and early-loss accounts back to their application characteristics to find gaps in screening. Recommend and test rule adjustments that reduce losses without driving up false declines or hurting the customer experience.
- Transaction Fraud Monitoring: Monitor transaction activity to identify suspicious behavior, bust-out patterns, and emerging fraud trends. Investigate alerts, distinguish fraudulent activity from false positives, recommend adjustments to fraud rules, and coordinate responses to fraud events. Balance fraud prevention with approval rates and customer experience.
- Partner Reporting & Performance Insights: Translate portfolio performance into meaningful insights for internal leadership, our sponsor bank, and lending partners. Lead partner performance reviews alongside the General Manager and serve as a primary point of contact for partner reporting, due diligence, and data requests. Develop analytical insights and proof points to support the expansion of Splitit’s white-label card and lending solutions to banks and credit unions.
Who You Are
- 5+ years in credit card or consumer lending, in portfolio analytics, credit risk, fraud, or a related role, with a working understanding of how credit portfolios perform (originations, delinquency, losses, profitability).
- Deep experience in either portfolio performance or fraud (ideally including fraud rule tuning and bust-out detection), plus enough working knowledge of the other to learn quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of turning findings into clear business recommendations.
- Comfortable with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau and Excel.
- Actively using AI tools to speed up analysis, investigate performance drivers, and improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Able to present complex findings clearly to senior leadership and external partners.
- Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and comfortable building processes in a growing business.
