General Summary
Level I Pharmacists provide prescribed pharmaceuticals and drug information as needed for patient care according to professional standards and practices. The Level I Pharmacist role includes routine distributive and clinical services with time in those domains contingent upon the needs of the facility and department. Level 1 Pharmacists may advance to a Level II Pharmacist position based upon job performance and successful completion of the requirements for advancement established in the Pharmacist Career Ladder Program (PCLP) criteria grids.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors Degree Pharmacy Bachelor's Degree. Required
Work Experience:
- Less than 1 year Hospital experience. Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Registered Pharmacist Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Completion of a pharmacy program from accredited school of pharmacy. Upon Hire Required
