Job Overview:
The Senior HSES Tech completes various HSES assignments as needed and can complete work with limited supervision. They are an informal resource for colleagues with less HSES experience. They provide solutions to problems in atypical or infrequently occurring situations based on existing precedents or procedures.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Three – four (3-4) years of relevant experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive team relationships.
- Have experience with technical activities.
- Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function.
- Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
- Strong working knowledge of Visio
- Experience supporting KPI reporting within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with iDocs would be considered an advantage.
- Previous experience supporting a Safety or Quality team and use of Safety Management tools such as Intelex or similar would be beneficial.
- Experience in supporting Journey Management documentation and travel will be an asset
