Job Overview:
The Manager Materials Management role requires an in-depth understanding of Material Management concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related disciplines. They must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, influence processes and policies for the Material Management discipline and identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. They impact the level of service and the Material Management team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan should guide decisions made by the Manager Materials Management.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred
- Over 8+ years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery
- Extensive functional, business, industry, and leadership expertise
- Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader
- Have broad experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operations
- Maintain critical competencies associated with the Materials Management function
- Great communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
- Computer literate in Microsoft programs: Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
