Flight Operations Officer/Flight Dispatcher

Join Siam Seaplane’s AOC Operations team and support the safe and efficient delivery of our flight operations.

Reporting to the Head of Flight Dispatch and Ground Operations , you will support daily operations and provide backup coverage for OCC, crew planning and flight dispatch assistance, following company procedures and within your training and authorization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare flight briefing packages, including Operational Flight Plans (OFP), weight and balance documentation, aircraft performance calculations, weather information, and NOTAMs.k
- Assist with route planning and fuel requirement calculations, considering aircraft limitations and operational conditions.
- Coordinate flight permits, airport slots, ATS flight plans, fuel, and airport arrangements.
- Support flight preparation and monitor flight progress, communicating operational changes and disruptions to flight crew and relevant teams.
- Prepare and update crew rosters, monitor flight time, duty periods, and rest requirements, and promptly highlight potential conflicts with the company’s approved limitations scheme.
- Optimize crew scheduling while maintaining safety, compliance, operational efficiency, and consideration for crew welfare.
- Coordinate with flight crew, Ground Operations, Continuing Airworthiness, Commercial and Customer Service teams, airports, and handling agents.
- Review returned flight documentation for completeness and discrepancies, and refer deviations for follow-up.
- Maintain accurate operational records, shift handovers, and required notifications under company contingency and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

- Thai national.
- Good command of spoken and written Thai and English at a professional working level.
- High standards of efficiency, accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to manage changing operational priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Aircraft weight and balance calculations.
- Aircraft performance calculations.
- Fuel requirement calculations.
- Using Operations Manuals and applicable operational procedures.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn flight planning and operational systems.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Additional desired skills:

- Experience in OCC, flight dispatch assistance, crew planning, or business aviation.
- Holding a valid Flight Dispatcher License will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with flight planning systems, ForeFlight, and operational documentation.
- Experience coordinating with CAAT, airports, and ground handling providers.
- Knowledge of EASA or FAA operational requirements.
- Interest in general aviation and seaplane operations.
