About Prophesee
Prophesee is a European deeptech based in France, founded in 2014 and a pioneer in Event-Based Vision, a technology inspired by how the human eye acquires visual information. It now equips security, defense, industry and infrastructure players. In these fields, understanding and deciding in the moment that matters is critical. Backed by more than 100 patents, more than 60 scientific publications and 66 international recognitions, the company continues to develop exceptional technology products, driven by an international team.
The Role
We are looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to shape and amplify Prophesee’s corporate voice, strengthen its brand and reputation, and foster clear, engaging communication across the organization.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will define and execute our corporate communications strategy, covering external communications, media relations, and internal communications. You will work closely with Marketing and HR to ensure consistency across our messaging, brand identity, and employee experience.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving, international deeptech company. You will combine strategic thinking with excellent writing skills and strong execution capabilities, turning complex technological and business topics into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Communications & Brand Voice
- Define and run Prophesee’s corporate communications strategy, aligned with business priorities and positioning.
- Own and evolve our brand platform and messaging framework (narrative, key messages, tone of voice, guidelines), and make sure teams and agencies apply it consistently.
- Support Marketing and the technical teams and safeguard the consistency of corporate messages in tenders, on the website and social media, and at trade shows.
- Prepare key messages and materials with the CEO and leadership team for strategic announcements, investor and public-authority communications and external engagements, and build executive visibility (interviews, opinion pieces, speaking opportunities).
2. Media Relations & External Communications
- Act as the main point of contact for our PR agency and manage day-to-day media relations.
- Write and coordinate press releases, corporate announcements and executive statements, and prepare spokespeople.
- Monitor coverage and handle sensitive topics and crisis communications with clear, consistent responses.
3. Internal Communications & Employee Experience
- Run the internal communications plan (newsletter, intranet, Slack, All Hands), including the roll-out of our messaging framework to all teams.
- Work with HR on employer branding, onboarding and the communication of organizational changes.
4. Planning, Execution & Performance
- Turn business priorities into communication plans, budgets and timelines, and coordinate external partners (PR agency, graphic designer, web and brand agencies).
- Measure what matters: media coverage, message reach, internal engagement and channel performance.
Your profile
- Experience: At least 5 years in corporate communications, agency and/or in-house, in B2B technology, deeptech or industrial environments.
- Writing: clear, precise writer and editor in English and French (full professional fluency; English is our working language). A short writing exercise is part of the process.
- Clarity: you turn complex technical topics into accurate, simple messages.
- Judgment and discretion: you are comfortable communicating in a security and defense environment, where what can be said publicly is carefully framed, and you apply confidentiality rules rigorously.
- Execution: you define a plan and a budget, and deliver the work yourself.
- Collaboration: you work directly with the CEO and senior leaders, and with Marketing, HR, technical teams and external partners.
- Autonomy and initiative: you prioritize in a fast-moving environment and question existing practices constructively.
- Digital tools: familiar with collaboration platforms, internal communication tools and content formats; analytics is a plus.
- Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in communications, journalism, business or a related field.
What Will Make You Successful at Prophesee
You understand not only what needs to be communicated, but why it matters to the business, and you turn complexity into clarity. You are equally comfortable advising senior leaders on communication strategy and writing a press release, preparing an All Hands presentation or coordinating a campaign yourself. You are looking for an environment where you can have a tangible impact, help the company grow, and grow with it.
