About this role
Kinsley Steel is currently seeking a talented and experienced General Superintendent to join our growing team.
- Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Promote a culture of safety among the team, and ensure that all safety precautions are followed on-site
- Coordinate weekly look-a-head schedules to anticipate any potential issues or delays
- Attend on-site project meetings, including those focused on safety, quality, scheduling, and production
- Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site
- Address non-conformances, issuing corrective actions as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and complete as-built drawings
EXPERIENCE
- A solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection
- Previous leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to effectively convey information, delegate tasks, and address any concerns that may arise
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment
- Experience and knowledge in operating equipment such as transit, laser level, and torpedo levels
- Valid driver's license required
