- Provide management with clear, concise, accurate, and timely updates on investigative findings, emerging risks, and recommended actions.

- Maintain high standards of investigative reporting, recognizing that senior Bank leaders may rely on these reports to make critical business, legal, regulatory, and risk-management decisions.

- Establish and maintain appropriate quality-control standards for the collection, preservation, preparation, and presentation of evidence in criminal, regulatory, and civil matters.

- Conduct investigations in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, Bank policies, and established investigative standards.

- Provide effective and relevant feedback concerning specific areas of Bank operations.

- Encourage collaboration across teams and business lines when responding to unusual, complex, or emerging events.

- Share investigative knowledge, intelligence, and leading practices with colleagues and relevant partners.

Education and Experience:

- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or relevant university or college coursework in business, law, criminology, law enforcement, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Minimum of five years of experience conducting complex financial crime, fraud, or due diligence investigations.

- Strong knowledge of investigative practices, methodologies, interviewing techniques, and enforcement strategies.

- Working knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which the Bank operates.

- Working knowledge of criminal and civil judicial processes, including the collection, preservation, and admissibility of evidence.

- Working knowledge of information technology applications, systems, data sources, and security controls.
