🔍 What Youll Do

💉 Specimen Collection & Patient Care

- Perform venipuncture using straight needles and butterfly needles
- Collect blood, urine, and other specimens following established procedures
- Clearly explain collection procedures to patients in a professional and reassuring manner
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times

🧪 Specimen Handling & Processing

- Label, centrifuge, split, and store specimens according to test requirements
- Match laboratory requisition forms with specimen tubes for 100% accuracy
- Prepare and package specimens for transport while maintaining integrity
- Follow proper storage protocols, including temperature requirements

🧼 Lab Operations & Compliance

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform equipment maintenance and decontamination duties
- Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations
- Participate in annual training and continuous education

📞 Administrative & Support Tasks

- Update and verify patient information in systems
- Answer incoming calls and assist with lab-related inquiries
- Communicate results or escalate issues as needed
- Support workflow improvements and assist with training when required

- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Phlebotomy Certification (where required by state)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
