About this role
Position Summary
The Specialist delivers the SIS onboarding experience for new hires: processing, licensing prerequisites, and the standard of service SIS expects, at volume and on deadline. Because SIS places its people on client sites, a hire who is not fully processed and licensed is a hire who cannot work.
Essential Functions
Percentages reflect expected allocation, not a fixed determination, and may vary with business needs.
- Processes new hires end to end (45%): offer paperwork, background and screening, I-9, and system setup.
- Owns licensing prerequisites for assigned hires (25%), coordinating with Licensing and Compliance so that no employee starts unlicensed.
- Delivers the new hire experience (20%): the contact, the answers, and the follow-through that make a first day feel prepared rather than improvised.
- Maintains accurate records (10%) in the HRIS and the tracking system of record.
Qualifications
As a candidate, you must have:
- Minimum High School Diploma

- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Office-based role. Requires travel to hiring events and work sites as business requires.
