Steel Welder

Job Purpose:
- The Steel Welder at MOLIN GAGE INC will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks on steel components, ensuring structural integrity and precision. The role demands expertise in various welding techniques and adherence to safety standards, contributing to the successful completion of projects within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate welding equipment to join steel components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect and assess welding surfaces and structures to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machinery and tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to optimize welding processes and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used and project timelines.
- Continuously improve welding skills through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in welding is preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel welding, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven track record of working with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings related to welding projects.

Required Skills and Abilities:
