Location: Salt Lake City, UT
We’re seeking an experienced Property Adjuster to handle field claims across Salt Lake City, UT . This is a field role and candidates MUST LIVE IN THE AREA .
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Property adjusting experience
✔️ First‑party claims experience strongly preferred and the candidate must be proficient with Xactimate.
✔️ Proven ability to work independently in a field environment
✔️ Must reside in or near Salt Lake City, UT.
Under intermediate direction, resolves claims by investigating losses, negotiating settlements, presenting evidence in legal proceedings while maintaining adequate production levels; makes sales calls when requested to do so.
- Requires a high school diploma; advanced education beyond high school preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience as a claims adjuster or must complete Crawford specified adjuster training if no experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and mathematical ability.
- Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions.
- Outside adjusters must have a valid driver's license
- Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services
- A variable schedule including on-call may be required. Depending on case load you may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
- Travel may be required during/outside of normal business hours when necessary.
