We're looking for an Assistant Front Desk Manager to support the day-to-day front desk operations at Rumble Boxing and PRML Social on 17th Avenue. Both are busy, high-energy environments where customer experience, sales, and speed of execution matter.

This role is hands-on. You'll be checking clients in, answering questions, selling memberships and packages, handling bookings, solving problems, and keeping the front desk running smoothly — often with multiple things happening at once.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, works with urgency, and doesn't need to be told twice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sales & Customer Service

- Convert inquiries and walk-ins into memberships, class packs, and bookings.
- Confidently explain our products, services, and pricing and recommend the right options for clients.
- Deliver friendly, professional service that keeps customers coming back.
- Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing clients to drive sales and retention.
- Handle customer questions and complaints quickly and professionally.

Front Desk Operations

- Manage check-ins, bookings, phone calls, emails, payments, and daily client requests.
- Keep the front desk organized, efficient, and ready for busy periods.
- Follow established procedures for opening, closing, cash handling, and daily tasks.
- Keep both spaces clean, organized, and presentable.
- Handle multiple priorities without losing focus or letting service standards slip.

Team & Studio Support

- Support front desk staff and help maintain consistent service standards.
- Communicate clearly with trainers, instructors, and management.
- Help execute promotions, events, and in-studio sales initiatives.
- Identify and resolve everyday issues independently, escalating when needed.
- Take ownership of tasks and ensure nothing gets missed.

Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, or boutique fitness is an asset. Sales experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Mindbody or similar booking platforms is a bonus.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Rumble Boxing brings high-energy, music-driven boxing and strength training to the boutique fitness experience. PRML Social combines sauna, cold plunge, music, and community.

Both locations on 17th Avenue can get busy. This is an active, customer-facing role that requires energy, multitasking, and the ability to stay productive during peak periods.

Early mornings, evenings and weekends are part of the fitness and wellness business, so schedule flexibility is important.
