About this role
Do you love thinking analytically? Are you passionate about using your financial knowledge to navigate complex challenges? Just as our customers find value in Apple products, the Finance group finds value for both Apple and its shareholders. As part of this group, you'll play an integral role in ensuring our day-to-day financial health. You and your team will support Apple's growth, both top and bottom line, by applying the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services. You'll also collaborate with Apple teams across the world to develop more effective investment strategies and risk management. Finance is essential to upholding our global commitment to excellence, and it is directly responsible for shaping the company's future. Join us, and you'll have an important role in continuing Apple's legacy of efficiency and success.
Every Apple Store starts as a line item. Before the doors open, before the first customer walks in, someone has to decide what gets built, what it costs, and when it's ready — and that work happens on this team.
We're looking for an analytical, highly motivated Financial Analyst to join Real Estate & Development (Places) Finance, supporting one of the most visible retail portfolios in the world: more than 500 Apple Store locations across every major market, plus the offices, data centers, and properties that keep Apple running.
In this role you'll own the capital story behind our retail footprint — new stores, relocations, expansions, and the continuous reinvestment that keeps existing stores feeling current. You'll sit directly alongside development, design, construction, and procurement partners, translating design intent into budgets and schedules, and translating financial reality back into decisions those teams can act on. The outcome of your work is tangible: stores that deliver a world-class experience for our customers, and a positive, sustainable environment for the teams who work in them.

5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience (construction or capital project finance preferred)
BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA and/or CPA a plus)
Advanced Excel proficiency — comfortable building and maintaining complex models from scratch
Demonstrated ability to run complex, data-driven analyses and turn them into a clear recommendation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise systems (SAP) and data visualization tools (Tableau)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make complex data concise and decision-ready for business partners and Finance leadership
Excellent prioritization skills and a track record of managing multiple projects — and multiple stakeholders — at once
Genuine curiosity about the physical world: how buildings get built, what drives cost, and why schedules move
