Groundskeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Groundskeeper to help maintain and enhance the outdoor areas of a private residence. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in keeping outdoor spaces clean, beautiful, safe, and well maintained, from swimming pools and water features to tennis courts, landscaping, and outdoor entertaining areas.

The ideal candidates are hands-on, proactive, and attentive to detail, with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented approach. They should enjoy working outdoors, take pride in the quality of their work, and understand the importance of maintaining a high standard of care across all exterior areas.

- Monday-Friday with some flexibility required

- Some travel between nearby residences is expected, with minimal out-of-town travel to other residences as needed

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain swimming pools; a dedicated pool company will handle water balancing

- Clean and maintain water features, ensuring they remain operational and visually appealing

- Maintain and clean tennis courts, keeping surfaces safe and free of debris

- Assist with general landscaping, including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation

- Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment

- Clean hardscape surfaces and help keep outdoor areas neat and presentable

- Cover and uncover exterior furniture as needed

- Assist with hurricane preparation and securing outdoor areas

- Clean exterior kitchen appliances after use, including grills, BBQs, and pizza ovens

- Collaborate with household and property team members to maintain high standards across the residences

- Respond to requests and communicate professionally and in a timely manner

Qualifications

- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or pool maintenance

- Knowledge of landscaping maintenance techniques and equipment

- Comfortable performing physical labor and lifting heavy objects as required

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Dependable, hardworking, and proactive, with a team-oriented attitude

- Professional communication skills and a willingness to take direction

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- College degree preferred

- Legally authorized to work in the United States
