About this role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a full-time Transport and Documentation Officer for a logistics company.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Transport and documentation officer is to support the transport and documentation department team.
- Entering documents and information into the system
- Communicating with local and international customers and agents
- Completing forms and declarations (manifests), issuing and delivering delivery orders
- Handling procedures at Customs, Port Authority, shipping agencies, etc.
- Providing customer service and support
- Filing documents, correspondence, and work-related records
- Coordinating drivers, warehouse staff, and customers for cargo deliveries.
- Supervising staff and operations at the company warehouse and at the port area (IPA)
- Planning and coordinating daily deliveries across Cyprus
- Providing instructions and support to drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Communicating with customers to ensure proper service and fulfillment of their requirements
- Monitoring schedules and resolving operational issues to maintain smooth workflow
- Cooperating with internal departments for the efficient execution of operations
- Carrying out any other duties assigned by the Company Management related to the position
Requirements:
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to use and learn new in-house software systems
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Initiative-taking and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in a related field will be considered an advantage
- A University Degree will be considered an advantage
