About this role
SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and technical coordination of EA-37B Compass Call data requirements, developmental and operational test activities, and capability-development efforts supporting U.S. Air Force Big Safari rapid acquisition programs.
The selected candidate will connect operational needs with test design, data collection, analysis, mission-system integration, and program decisions. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage complex flight-test and data-development activities while working effectively with Air Force program offices, test organizations, operational units, laboratories, and industry partners to rapidly field and improve electronic attack capability.
What You'll Do
- Lead program planning, technical execution, and delivery for EA-37B data-requirements, test, and development activities
- Translate operational mission data needs into clear, measurable data, test, analysis, and capability-development requirements
- Develop and review test strategies, test plans, data-collection plans, analysis approaches, reports, technical assessments, and decision briefings
- Lead the definition, collection, management, and analysis of mission, aircraft, electronic warfare, telemetry, and supporting test data; ensure data products answer operational and engineering questions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of test engineers, analysts, mission-system engineers, software developers, aircrew, and contractor personnel to resolve technical issues and maintain execution tempo
- Assess contractor technical approaches, designs, schedules, and deliverables for adequacy, integration risk, requirement compliance, and readiness for test and fielding
- Support integration and modernization of electronic attack, communications, sensors, payloads, mission-computing, and mission-software capabilities on the EA-37B
- Manage interfaces among aircraft, mission systems, software, hardware, data, networks, sensors, and test infrastructure; identify and drive resolution of integration issues
- Evaluate proposed capability changes for impacts to mission effectiveness, data requirements, cybersecurity, airworthiness, integration, test, certification, schedule, and risk
- Provide concise technical and programmatic recommendations to senior government, military, and industry stakeholders to support rapid acquisition, capability insertion, and lifecycle planning
- Support schedule, budget, resource, and risk-management activities for assigned EA-37B efforts
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s in physics, engineering, systems engineering, computer science, aerospace, or a closely related technical discipline
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in technical program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, data analysis, or airborne mission-system development
- An active Secret clearance is required
- Experience supporting complex Department of Defense airborne mission systems, electronic warfare or electronic attack systems, special-mission aircraft, RF communications, radar, or related capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute data-driven experiments, develop test objectives, collect and analyze mission data, and communicate results that inform program decisions
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing competing technical, operational, schedule, and resource priorities
- Strong working knowledge of systems engineering, requirements development, interface management, integration planning, verification, and validation
- Proficiency with technical data-analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or comparable analytical and visualization tools
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in classified environments and meet applicable security-clearance requirements
Ways to Stand Out
- Direct EA-37B, EC-130H Compass Call, or comparable airborne electronic attack flight-test experience
- Experience with operational test, developmental test, flight-test instrumentation, mission playback, telemetry, data fusion, or physics-based performance analysis
- Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach, Open Mission Systems, Universal Command and Control Interface, Government Reference Architectures, or open-interface integration
- Experience developing software tools that accelerate test-data processing, visualization, or mission analysis
