Meadows Tree Nursery and Family Hub are seeking Room Leaders (3 posts).

In this role, you will lead one of our Baby, Toddler or Pre-School rooms, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and flourish.

You will lead day-to-day room practice, support your team and work closely with families and nursery leadership to deliver high-quality early years care and education in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).

Your responsibilities

- Lead the daily running of your allocated room and support and guide practitioners.
- Plan and deliver inclusive, play-based learning experiences that respond to children’s needs and interests.
- Maintain strong safeguarding, welfare, health and safety standards, and accurate records.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers and support effective communication.
- Work collaboratively with the Nursery Manager and wider team to help establish excellent practice across our new setting.

What you will need

- A recognised, full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or higher).
- Experience working in an early year setting, with the ability to lead and support a room team.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, child development and inclusive practice.
- A commitment to safer recruitment, professional conduct and maintaining children’s welfare is essential.
