Job Title: Electrical Component Engineer

Job Description The Electrical Component Engineer will work closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to manage electrical component projects and drive technical deliverables to completion. They will review and interpret electrical schematics, specifications, and component requirements while coordinating development, validation, troubleshooting, and supplier activities. The role will also track project timelines, resolve technical issues, and communicate progress across engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers. Responsibilities

- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to manage electrical component projects.
- Review and interpret electrical schematics, specifications, and component requirements.
- Coordinate development, validation, troubleshooting, and supplier activities.
- Track project timelines and resolve technical issues.
- Communicate progress across engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers.

Essential Skills

- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Understanding of circuits.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exposure to Altium.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive tasks to completion.
- Strong understanding of electrical components (BLDCs, sensors, actuators, harnesses, connectors, control modules, PCBs), supply chain, automotive, HVAC, DFMEA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Electrical engineering background.
- Strong knowledge of circuits, schematics, specifications, and components such as motors, sensors, actuators, connectors, control modules, and PCBs.
- Strong project management, communication, and supplier-facing skills.

Work Environment The role is primarily based in an office environment, with occasional work in a test lab.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lockport, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
