Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Pipe Welders for projects located in or around Pipersville, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience plus $125/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite. Job Scope:

- Perform MIG/GMAW pipe welding

- Fabricate ductwork systems and complete modular mechanical systems

- Weld Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 black steel pipe

- Perform welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions

- Complete short-circuit root passes with pulse fill and cap techniques

- Fit and weld pipe ranging primarily from 4" to 12"

- Produce high-quality welds that meet ultrasonic testing (UT) requirements

- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld specifications

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

- Previous MIG/GMAW pipe welding experience

- Ability to pass a 6G weld test

- Experience working with Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 black steel pipe

- Experience performing root, fill, and cap welds

- Ability to weld in multiple positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead

- Experience producing welds subject to ultrasonic testing (UT)

- Strong fitting and fabrication skills

- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
