Project Manager - Electrical Utility Construction

What You'll Do

- Manage transmission and substation projects from planning through closeout.
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, profitability, and resources.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, field leadership, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate construction activities with union crews and field teams.
- Manage change orders, project forecasting, risk, and reporting.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of Project Management experience in construction.
- Experience managing utility, transmission, and/or substation projects.
- Background working with utility clients on the contractor side.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, leadership, and client-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.

Work Environment

Hybrid role supporting a greenfield substation project in La Porte, IN , with office options in Chesterton, IN or Downers Grove, IL . Approximately 3 days onsite per week with regional travel and occasional overnight stays as needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
