Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $34.94/hr to $42.84 (depending on experience)
Location: Dayton, Ohio 45404

About the Role

PrideStaff has partnered with a premier, growing aerospace manufacturer in the Dayton area looking for a CNC Programmer who thrives in both programming and hands-on shop floor collaboration!

Our client produces high-precision, build-to-print components for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. Equipped with Haas, Doosan, and Hwacheon machinery, their shop provides a dynamic, high-tech environment where your expertise directly shapes real-world aerospace innovations.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Setup: Program, set up, and optimize CNC lathes and machining centers (including Mill-Turn Y-axis and 5-axis applications).

Process Optimization: Select tooling, establish offsets, read complex blueprints/GD&T, and refine G-code/CAM programs to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap.

Shop Floor Leadership: Troubleshoot machining issues, mentor team members, and perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

Fixturing & Tooling Design: Develop custom fixtures, jigs, and tools for complex components, including non-ferrous metals and additive manufacturing parts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (compliance required for defense/aerospace standards).

Experience: 6+ years in a related machining role with 3+ years of CAM experience focusing on Mill-Turn/Lathe Y-axis setups.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of G-Code, Fanuc controllers, GD&T, and CAM/CAD software.

Material Expertise: Hands-on experience working with aerospace alloys (e.g., Inconel 718, Stainless 321/304/316, Aluminum 7075, Titanium) or non-ferrous materials like brass.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
