Description
As a Birdwood Mansion Guest Experience Host, you will serve as an ambassador for this historic property, welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, and creating exceptional experiences that reflect the standards of Boar’s Head Resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, greet, and escort guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Share stories about Birdwood Mansion, its history, gardens, native plants, and local attractions.
- Anticipate guest needs, personalize service, and maintain accurate guest preference records.
- Coordinate dining reservations, in-room dining, housekeeping requests, and special guest arrangements.
- Collaborate with Dining, Housekeeping, Sales & Events, Culinary, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
- Prepare the mansion for daily operations, guest visits, and intimate gatherings.
- Manage guest correspondence, shift notes, reservation systems, and cash transactions in accordance with resort procedures.
- Stay informed about resort activities, events, and service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, concierge services, or a customer-facing role preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for personalized service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to multitask, anticipate needs, and work collaboratively across departments.
- Interest in history, storytelling, gardens, and local attractions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts.
Salary Description
$21.50 hourly plus gratuity
