Affirmed Home Care is urgently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) who speak both English and Spanish to provide personalized care for a couple in their home in Leonia, New Jersey .

Position Details

- Location: Leonia, NJ, and surrounding areas within approximately 15 miles
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours: 10 hours per day, 50 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- Language Requirement: Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Client Assignment: One-on-one home care for a couple

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as needed
- Support clients with mobility and daily routines
- Communicate effectively with clients and their family members in English and Spanish
- Follow the individualized care plan and maintain clients’ comfort, safety, and dignity
- Report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate care team

Qualifications

- Active New Jersey HHA certification
- Ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently
- Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional
- Ability to work the scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States
