Position Summary
The Service Station Attendant provides excellent customer service to patrons visiting the service station. This role is responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting daily station operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit card, and other customer transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with fuel purchases and fill gas tanks when necessary.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service.
- Answer customer questions and provide directions or assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including collecting and disposing of outdoor trash.
- Process customer purchases and provide receipts.
- Help ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Maintain flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Cash handling and retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
