Intermediate Architect / Job Captain Job Description Join a dynamic Architecture & Engineering firm specializing in highly technical projects, including data centers and critical facilities. We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Architect / Job Captain to support project teams throughout design development, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination. This role involves significant hands-on technical work, building modeling, detailing, and project coordination within a collaborative, small-firm environment. Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Revit models and drawing sets.
- Produce architectural construction documents and technical details.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines.
- Participate in project meetings and consultant coordination.
- Support project delivery for mission-critical and data center projects.
- Assist with code research, technical documentation, and construction administration activities as needed.
- Contribute to project quality, schedule adherence, and technical excellence.

Essential Skills

- Strong proficiency in Revit for production of construction documents, design development, and project coordination.
- Ability to create and manage 3D architectural models and technical drawing packages.
- Experience supporting or leading architectural projects as a Job Captain or Intermediate Architect.
- Experience on new construction projects rather than renovations-only environments.
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, detailing, and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Interest in highly technical building types, including data centers, mission-critical facilities, infrastructure, and other complex building projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- 4-5+ years of architectural experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and technical detailing.
- Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, mission-critical, or similar complex building projects.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Architectural licensure on path preferred but not required.
- Experience with client presentations, Enscape, Twinmotion, BIM Coordination, and Navisworks.

Work Environment Professional office environment with a collaborative team structure. The firm offers hybrid flexibility with an optional remote day on Fridays. Occasional project site visits may be required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $44.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
