- Experience with network monitoring, alerting, configuration backup, performance analysis, log management, and packet-analysis tools; ability to turn telemetry into actionable operational insight.
- Working knowledge of network segmentation, zero-trust principles, intrusion detection and prevention, secure remote access, vulnerability remediation, and defense-in-depth practices.
- Ability to automate administrative and validation tasks using Python, PowerShell, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, or comparable tools.
- Experience working within formal incident, problem, change, configuration, and asset-management processes.
- Working knowledge of PCI, SOX, and related control and evidence requirements in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with Akamai CDN and security services, SIEM platforms, and cloud security or observability tooling is a plus.
- CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Meraki certification, or comparable industry certification preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
