Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with 5 to 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas or related industries such as refining, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, LNG etc. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with Storage Tanks will be preferred.
We are seeking candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities who are able to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide technical solution in Tankage Asset Integrity
· Perform RBI Assessments in accordance with API RP 580/581
· Identify degradation mechanisms and assess storage tank condition based on inspection reports and other relevant documents
· Prepare technical reports and presentations]
· Adhere to established procedures, guidelines, and policies.
· Maintain customer focus, integrity, and collaboration in the workplace.
· Contribute openly and transparently to internal efforts to ensure a strong workplace culture.
Work Experience
Skills and Qualifications
· 4-year degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering
· 5 to 10 years of experience working in Oil & Gas or related industry (Refining/ Petrochemical/ Pharma/ LNG) and at least 3 years of experience working with storage tanks.
· Sound knowledge and work experience in the following areas:
o In-service and shutdown inspection and maintenance of various types of Storage Tanks. Knowledge of API 650 and 653; and API 653 certification is preferred
o Various NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Radiography Testing (RT), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) inspection etc. SNT TC-1A Level 2 certification is highly desirable.
o Risk-based inspection methodology alongside knowledge of API 580 and 581 is a must and Certification in API 580 will be considered a plus.
o Welding and inspection of welds. Certifications such as CSWIP (TWI) or CWI (AWS) will be an added advantage.
o Inspection Plan development, optimization & preparation of repair scope is required.
o Tank static calculations will be considered a plus.
o Design software like PV Elite, Tank Hexagon etc. will be an advantage
o Damage Mechanisms and material selection
· Excellent verbal and written communication in English
· Willingness to collaborate with other team members and teams effectively
· Knowledge of software tools such as MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. is required
· Knowledge of APM Meridium, Pestra, Credo, etc. is highly desirable
