Introduction to the Business Unit
Qatar Airways is looking for a Senior Airport Services Agent to join our Ground Services team in Bucharest, Romania. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, supporting safe and efficient airport operations, and ensuring passengers and their baggage are handled in a consistent and professional manner.

About the Role
As a Senior Airport Services Agent, you will support airport operations across check-in, boarding, arrivals, baggage services and customer assistance. You will work closely with ground handling agents, airport stakeholders and operational teams to ensure the highest standards of service, safety and security are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for customers, stakeholders and airport partners, representing Qatar Airways professionally at all times.
• Support check-in, boarding, arrival and baggage service activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor airport operations to ensure service, safety and security standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with customer enquiries, service recovery and passenger claims in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with ground handling agents, ramp teams and airport stakeholders to support smooth operational performance.
• Perform assigned aircraft turnaround checks to support the safe and secure handling of Qatar Airways aircraft.
• Assist passengers with documentation requirements, visas, residence permits and airport wayfinding when required.
• Complete pre-flight, post-flight and operational administration activities accurately and on time.
• Support the implementation of new operational procedures and ensure compliance with company requirements.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to operational improvement initiatives.

About You
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
• High School Qualification with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience; OR
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of job-related experience.
• Experience in airport operations within a leading airline environment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to effectively manage mishandled baggage services and customer service recovery situations.
• Knowledge of ticketing processes and fare construction principles.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders while maintaining operational, safety and security standards.
• Must have the current legal right to live and work in Romania.
