This role is for a Mumbai-based design studio working across healthcare, homes and hospitality. Its work gets published and wins awards, and it is now looking for a creative maverick to own how that work is told. The studio is opening the seat that owns it: you shape the communication that carries the studio's design into the world, producing the work yourself and directing a junior who produces alongside you, with the Principal stepping in only to steer and approve. Graphic judgement is the heart of the role.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design Communication: Develop compelling project narratives, visual imagery, diagrams, presentations, and other communication materials that effectively showcase the studio’s architectural and design work.
Graphic Design & Art Direction: Establish and maintain high visual standards across all outputs. Execute design work independently where required and provide clear graphic direction to the junior team member.
Social Media Management: Plan, create, schedule, publish, and review content across the studio’s social media channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence.
Presentation & Portfolio Design: Create and maintain presentation decks, portfolio layouts, pitch materials, and reusable templates aligned with the studio’s visual identity.
Team Coordination: Guide the junior team member, review deliverables, and ensure quality, consistency, and timely execution.
Content Collaboration: Coordinate with Lead Architects and project teams to source drawings, project details, images, and other relevant information.
Publications & Awards: Prepare and refine communication materials for design publications, award submissions, press coverage, and other external opportunities.
Archive Management: Organise and maintain the studio’s project archive and image library, ensuring assets are accessible, accurate, and ready for publication.
