At Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, we manufacture the Model Y, and starting in 2027, we’ll produce everything from battery cells to electric vehicles. This is unique in Europe. - Observe existing manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop improvement proposals and help implement them on the production floor
- Track actions and document their effect on quality, flow, and effort
- Work with shifts, team leads, and engineering so improvements are adopted in daily operations
- Review manufacturing workstations for ergonomic strain and propose concrete improvements and support their introduction
- Plan and carry out process audits on site in manufacturing
- Check whether the defined process is being followed and record deviations factually
- Review findings with the responsible areas and follow up on open items
- Document audits completely and clearly
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, or a related field
- Interest in manufacturing, lean methods, and working directly on the shop floor
- Analytical, structured way of working with attention to detail
- Good written and spoken communication; able to give factual, constructive feedback to production teams
- Good command of English; German (or local language) is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
