Meet the Team
Core to the health and growth of our business, Millennium’s Information Technology organization supports a flexible, scalable technology environment powered by advanced proprietary systems and the continued development of next-generation analytical and trading capabilities. The Infrastructure organization designs, engineers, supports, and manages Millennium’s server estate, systems virtualization, and core enterprise services. The Linux Platform team supports reliable, secure, and observable Linux environments across physical, virtual, and containerized infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve incidents across the Linux estate, owning issues through verified resolution and driving follow-up actions that prevent recurrence
- Troubleshoot physical server hardware, including HPE and Dell systems, using out-of-band management tools and hardware logs to diagnose component faults
- Operate Kubernetes clusters that support internal platform services, including deployments, Helm, image builds, and capacity management
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for operating system and container image builds, configuration deployment, and promotion workflows
- Administer RHEL servers at fleet scale, including builds, patching, lifecycle management, and configuration management through immutable image pipelines, Chef, and Ansible
- Manage Linux authentication and entitlements across Active Directory, Kerberos, and OAuth environments
- Use Prometheus, OpenSearch, and related observability tools to identify and address issues before they impact users
- Review and guide AI agents supporting the operations queue, extend agent workflows and integrations in Go and Python, and participate in the on-call rotation supporting Linux services
What You Bring
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience focused on Linux environments; financial services experience is preferred
- Deep expertise in enterprise Linux, including RHEL administration at fleet scale
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies, including deployments, Helm, and OCI image builds
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise server hardware, including HPE and Dell platforms, iLO or iDRAC, and hardware-log analysis
- Strong incident-management discipline in an ITSM environment, including ServiceNow, and experience with configuration management and CI/CD tools such as Chef, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Proficiency in Bash and/or Python, with broad knowledge of networking, DNS, NTP/PTP, and storage infrastructure
- Working knowledge of LLMs and AI agents, including prompt and tool design, Model Context Protocol, agent evaluation, autonomous-system failure modes, and automation approval boundaries
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience; Go proficiency and RHCSA, RHCE, or CKA certifications are a plus
