About this role
We are seeking an experienced Field Evaluation professional with strong knowledge of CSA B149.3 and SPE-1000 to provide inspection services to manufacturers in Alberta and Western Canada.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Field Evaluation Inspector with demonstrated knowledge and experience in CSA B149.3 and SPE-1000 field evaluations.
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and capabilities:
- Strong technical knowledge of CSA B149.3 and SPE-1000 requirements.
- Proven experience conducting field evaluations and inspections.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to make sound decisions while working on customer sites.
- Ability to assess technical issues, identify compliance concerns, and determine appropriate courses of action.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with manufacturers, customers, and other stakeholders.

- Position requires approximately 70% travel time.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; P.Eng designation preferred.
- Previous field evaluation experience with CSA B149.3 and CSA SPE-1000.
- Strong client-facing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Candidate must be located in the Alberta, Canada area and close to an airport due to travel.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $96,000 to $115,000 CAD and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits including dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), statutory holidays and 3 personal days and sick time off (80 hours).
