About this role

Who We Are

Fulcrum
Digital is a global AI-first enterprise transformation company with over 25
years of experience. We partner with enterprises across financial services,
insurance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, higher education, and logistics
to move from AI experimentation to scalable business outcomes. Fulcrum Digital
works with over 100 global clients, including Fortune 500 enterprises,
combining deep industry expertise with capabilities in enterprise AI, digital
engineering, cloud modernisation, platform integration, and generative AI.

The Role

We're
hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Business Operations
(BizOps) team on one of our top client engagements — a global leader in
payments technology. This role supports the AI Data and User Experience
program, which is establishing a Unified AI, Data & UX Organization to
enable faster delivery, differentiated AI products, and scalable innovation
across the enterprise.

Business
Operations leads the client's DevOps transformation through tooling and by
advocating for change and standards across the development, quality, release,
and product organizations. We're looking for someone with an appetite for
change who can push the boundaries of what's possible with automation, and who
works comfortably across development, operations, and product teams to
prioritize needs and build relationships.

Core
tech stack: Unix, shell scripting, SQL, Python, Apache NiFi, Splunk, Dynatrace,
Jenkins, Git, XL Release (XLR), and AI/agentic workflows.

What You'll Do

• Engage in and improve the full
lifecycle of services — from inception and design through deployment,
operation, and refinement.

• Analyze ITSM activity across the
platform and feed back operational gaps or resiliency concerns to development
teams.

• Support services before they go
live through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.

• Maintain live services by
measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

• Scale systems sustainably through
automation, and drive changes that improve reliability and velocity.

• Support the application CI/CD
pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and
operational gating, and lead DevOps automation and best practices.

• Practice sustainable incident
response and blameless post-mortems.

• Take a holistic approach to
problem-solving, connecting the dots across the technology stack during
production events to optimize mean time to recovery.

• Collaborate with a global team
spread across multiple tech hubs and time zones.

• Share knowledge and mentor junior
team members.

Requirements

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a
related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or
equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with algorithms, data
structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.

• Systematic problem-solving
approach, combined with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership
and drive.

• Ability to debug and optimize code
and automate routine tasks.

• Experience handling difficult
situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency, given the range of
stakeholders supported.

• Experience supporting production
AI, machine learning, data platforms, or large-scale distributed systems.

• Experience with industry-standard
CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef.

Nice to Have

• Experience in one or more of the
following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.

• Experience designing and
implementing an efficient CI/CD flow that moves code from dev to prod with high
quality and minimal manual effort.
