About this role
Google's line of products and services to clients never stops growing. Strategic Partner Managers have the rare opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship with our top partners. You cultivate these existing partnerships to make sure they can take full advantage of Google's ever-growing suite of offerings. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see mutually beneficial opportunities with partners in order to best represent our users, products and programs.
The Devices and Services Partnership team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top Carriers and Retailers, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product and engineering, finance and retail marketing teams internally, and with our retail counterparts across these disciplines.
In this role, you will be focused on driving Google's Devices Sales programs across the entire Iberia region, a position very target oriented based on sell-out. Through a dedicated field team, managed by external agencies, you will be responsible for defining and executing the regional strategy for partner engagement, setting in store standards and visibility, training and deployment of sales activities to meet overall growth objectives. You will be working closely with retail and carrier partners to implement targeted programs - including incentives, training, and advocacy, while ensuring premium in-store visibility through fixtures and demo devices to maximize sell-out across all channels (Retail, Online, Telesales, B2B). You will manage and activate these sales networks, ensuring the successful implementation of all New Product Introductions across all hardware categories and hitting country business goals.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
