About this role

Ready to make your next big professional move? Join us on our journey to achieve our big dream of building the most loved restaurant brands in the world.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies with nearly $49 billion in annual system-wide sales and over 33,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories.

RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands – TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. Through its Restaurant Brands for Good framework, RBI is improving sustainable outcomes related to its food, the planet, and people and communities.

RBI is committed to growing the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES® and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands by leveraging their respective core values, employee and franchisee relationships, and long track records of community support. Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.

Tim Hortons US is entering a new growth era, including accelerating its store count to over 1,000 locations by 2030, with Nashville and Houston among the key markets fueling that growth. The Local Store Marketer (LSM) is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for driving sales, traffic, and brand relevance within a dedicated cluster of approximately 10 Tim Hortons restaurants by building on-the-ground community relationships, executing local activations, and generating incremental catering and group-order business.

This role is intentionally more tactical than a traditional Regional Marketing Manager: the LSM personally executes local marketing — cold-calling, canvassing, and events — rather than coaching franchisees to do it themselves. Success is measured through clear, tangible sales and activity targets that are fully within the LSM’s control.

This is a full-time field role. The large majority of the LSM’s time is spent in their car and in-market — visiting local businesses, offices, schools, gyms, and community organizations — rather than at a desk, and will include evening and weekend hours to support events and Grand Openings when needed.

RBI follows a  5  day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite  5   days  per week.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Personally execute local marketing activities within an assigned cluster of ~10 Tim Hortons restaurants, driving sales, traffic, and catering/group-order revenue for the market.

- Proactively cold-call and visit local businesses, offices, schools, fraternities/sororities, gyms, and community organizations to build partnerships that drive catering, group orders, and repeat traffic.

- Plan and execute grassroots community events, activations, sponsorships, and fundraisers that build brand awareness and goodwill within the market.

- Support and execute New Restaurant Openings, including pre-opening canvassing, grand-opening activation, and post-opening local marketing support.

- Serve as the primary point of contact and brand ambassador for local community partners, sponsors, and civic organizations within the assigned cluster.

- Support franchisee marketing execution at the restaurant level — coordinating logistics with owner/operators, while personally owning execution of the activity itself.

- Track and report local activation results (partnerships signed, events executed, catering booked); maintain a simple log/CRM of outreach and partnerships.

- Partner with the Regional Marketing Manager and Performance Analytics team to align local execution with market sales and traffic targets.

- Facilitate accurate, timely communication of brand marketing programs, systems, and procedures to franchisees within the cluster.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in field marketing, sales, community relations, event marketing, or another client/customer-facing role.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required — this role spends the substantial majority of its time on the road within the assigned market, not at a desk.

- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends to support local events, tailgates, and sponsorships.

- Entrepreneurial, self-starting, and comfortable with direct/cold outreach — this role is measured on sales activities and results fully within the LSM’s control.

- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; comfortable representing the brand independently with community partners, local business owners, and civic organizations.

- Organized and able to manage a personal book of local partnerships, events, and follow-ups with minimal daily supervision.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for activity tracking and reporting.

- Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability, ownership, and a passion for the success of the brand, the market, and personal career growth.
