JV Janitorial Services is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented individual for a part-time evening cleaning position at a commercial facility in Mentor, Ohio.
This position involves general office and facility cleaning, with a significant emphasis on floor care and maintenance. We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, and can work independently.
Schedule & Location
- Location: Mentor, OH (Production Drive area)
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 4 hours per evening, beginning after 5:00 PM
- Total: 20 hours per week
- Consistent weekday schedule
Job Responsibilities
- Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas
- Clean offices, conference rooms, lobby, and employee break areas
- Dust desks, furniture, counters, and other surfaces
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean lunchroom tables, microwaves, and other common-area surfaces
- Perform scheduled detail cleaning of doors, furniture, mats, and other areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures and use approved cleaning products
Please note: This is an active, hands-on position requiring extensive floor cleaning during each shift.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Experience maintaining multiple types of flooring is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow a cleaning schedule
- Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
- Reliable transportation to the Mentor location
