About Big SNOW:
Big SNOW is the North Americas first and only real snow, indoor, year-round ski and snowboard resort. We share our passion of sliding on snow with our guests.
How the Snow Ambassador works with the Team:
Introduce skiing or snowboarding to adults and children who are eager to learn the enjoyment of snow sports. Instructors create a fun and safe learning environment ensuring the guest has a memorable experience.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Teach adults and children, of varying abilities, lessons through our Terrain Based Learning program and Camp BIG kids camp.
- Helping the guests through learning experience and assisting with any questions.
- Serves as an ambassador for the facility by being knowledgeable on Big SNOW and products.
- Assist other trails as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a proficient skier/snowboarder
- Must have own equipment and a helmet
- A passion for the sport and a desire to teach others
- Must be able to work cold conditions (constant 28 degrees)
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Teaching or coaching experience preferred but not required
- Good communication skills
- Can work weekends and/or Holidays/ midweek afternoons
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
